The purpose of the job
You will oversee the planning, creation, testing, and upkeep of clinical study databases for several projects as a clinical database programmer. In order to guarantee data correctness, regulatory alignment, and on-time project completion, your job will be essential.
You'll:
- Examine data management strategies and research protocols (DMPs).
- Create data entry interfaces that adhere to legal requirements and standard operating procedures.
🎯 Key Responsibilities :-
🔧 Core Database Programming

Develop and deploy accurate and efficient clinical databases
-
Validate and test systems to support robust data collection and processing
🌐 Data Integration & Support
-
Manage clinical data transfers from internal and third-party sources (Labs, ECG vendors, etc.)
-
Deliver high-quality data outputs in formats required by stakeholders
🤝 Stakeholder Collaboration
-
Work with teams including Clinical, Medical, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance
-
Support data review and reporting tools like SAS and other systems
🧪 Quality & Innovation
-
Ensure adherence to CDISC standards for CRFs, data libraries, and structures
-
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and standardization across projects
📈 Leadership & Mentoring

Provide technical guidance to data management staff

Train and mentor junior programmers while contributing to knowledge sharing
✅ Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
-
🎓 A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Life Sciences, Nursing, Computer Science, or a related discipline

🧩 8–10 years of clinical data programming experience
-
🧠 Hands-on knowledge of programming tools and CDM applications
-
🌍 Experience leading programming efforts across global clinical studies is preferred
